A HydraFacial starts off much like any other professional facial does: with a deep cleansing of your skin
and pores—only it goes 20 times deeper than a topical application would. The cleansing process
includes a serum plus a mix of botanical cleansers and hydrating and skin-soothing ingredients. The pen-
like HydraPeel tip whisks away makeup and dirt from your pores. Next comes exfoliation using a mix of
low levels of glycolic and salicylic acids, which helps to shed the dead, top layer of skin cells and uncover
a fresh, more radiant-looking complexion. As with any chemical exfoliating treatment, you may feel a bit
of tingling at this time. But because it’s a mild peel, skin shouldn’t sting or burn.
Next up, a vacuum-like tip called the vortex-extraction nozzle suctions out blackheads and any other
remaining impurities from deep within your pores while also delivering a solution of salicylic acid. This
vacuum step also stimulates lymphatic drainage, helping stimulate blood circulation moving excess fluid
and waste from skin tissue. We then use LED light therapy on your skin to kill any breakout-causing
bacteria or to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
